Vermont Fest 2017 has ended
To return to the main VT Fest  2017 website, go to: http://vita-learn.org/.

How to navigate the schedule: The conference schedule is hosted by Sched.com which allows you to search within the schedule, and filter the schedule to show sessions only occurring on a certain day or time.

You can build your own schedule by creating a free account with Sched.com by selecting "SIGN UP" in the top right corner. To use the filter options, find the "Filter by Type" heading on the right side of the page and select one of the sessions.   A navigation bar will appear, showing all of the tracks.  Hovering over the "Schedule" tab at the top of the agenda will show the different ways to view the schedule.

For more information, watch a how-to video from Sched.com to learn about all of the features.

Making History: Using Social Media to Connect with Our Community

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In 2014 BAMS entered into a partnership with the Brattleboro Historical Society and WKVT to produce a weekly radio show about local history. Since then we have expanded our work with the historical society to include a podcast, Twitter account and Facebook page. Students complete research, compose content and create recordings for each of these social media platforms. In this workshop students and adults will demonstrate the techniques used for our Making History project.
